AI startup SandboxAQ has secured an additional $150 million in Series E funding, with backing from prominent investors including Google, Nvidia, and BNP Paribas. This brings the round’s total to $450 million and the company’s cumulative funding to $950 million.

SandboxAQ, now valued at $5.75 billion, focuses on Large Quantitative Models (LQMs) — powerful AI models tailored for highly complex simulations and predictions. These models have applications across sectors such as drug discovery, financial modeling, quantum security, and scientific R&D.

According to the company, the new funding will bolster research and development efforts while expanding SandboxAQ’s footprint into new industries, including biopharmaceuticals, chemicals, and energy. The firm continues to pioneer advanced AI and quantum capabilities to solve large-scale enterprise and scientific problems, positioning itself as a major player at the intersection of deep tech and industry transformation.
