Telegram has partnered with Elon Musk’s xAI to integrate the Grok chatbot across its entire app ecosystem. As part of the one-year agreement, Telegram will receive $300 million in cash and equity, plus 50% of the revenue from xAI subscriptions sold via Telegram. Previously available only to Telegram Premium users, Grok will now be available to all users and can be pinned to the top of chats or accessed via the search bar. The integration aims to bring Grok’s functionality—such as writing suggestions, summarizing chats and documents, creating stickers, and providing business support—directly to Telegram’s billion+ users. This collaboration is seen as a major move to enhance Telegram’s financials and expand xAI’s reach amidst rising AI integration across consumer platforms.
