NVIDIA has officially announced NemoClaw, an open-source stack for the OpenClaw agent platform aimed at making autonomous AI agents more secure, private, and enterprise-ready.
According to NVIDIA’s official announcement on NVIDIA News, NemoClaw lets users install NVIDIA Nemotron models together with the newly announced OpenShell runtime in a single command, adding policy-based controls that help govern how AI agents behave and handle data.
AI agents are moving beyond simple chat interfaces into long-running systems that can reason, plan, call tools, and take actions on behalf of users. As these systems become more capable, security, privacy, and behavioral controls are becoming essential.
NVIDIA’s launch shows the company expanding beyond chips and infrastructure into the software layer for autonomous agents. By offering an open-source security-focused stack around OpenClaw, NVIDIA is aiming to become part of the foundational runtime layer for enterprise AI agents.
