Deloitte to roll out Claude across 470,000 people; launches Center of Excellence and 15,000-pro cert
09-Oct-2025
Anthropic and Deloitte announced an expanded collaboration that will make Claude available to more than 470,000 people across Deloitte’s global network. As part of the rollout, Deloitte will establish a dedicated Claude Center of Excellence to develop implementation frameworks, share leading practices, and provide ongoing technical support so clients can move from pilots to production at scale. The companies say this is Anthropic’s largest enterprise AI deployment to date. In parallel, Deloitte and Anthropic are co-creating a formal certification program to train and certify 15,000 Deloitte professionals on Claude, who will support client implementations and Deloitte’s internal AI transformation.
A key focus of the alliance is building industry-specific AI solutions that meet the needs of regulated sectors such as financial services, healthcare and life sciences, and public services. These offerings will combine Claude’s safety-first design with Deloitte’s Trustworthy AI™ framework to drive greater transparency and control around model behavior and decision-making. Executives from both companies emphasized the alignment on responsible AI: Anthropic’s Paul Smith said Claude is designed for the compliance and control enterprises demand, while Deloitte’s Ranjit Bawa noted that the partnership spans technology integration, the Center of Excellence, continued certification of 15,000 practitioners, and development of industry solutions to support clients’ AI transformations.
The announcement underscores a broader shift among global consultancies toward standardizing on frontier models while embedding governance and assurance from day one. Full announcement: Deloitte will make Claude available to 470,000 people across its global network.
