Netflix Sets Ambitious $1 Trillion Valuation Goal by 2030

28-Apr-2025

TechCrunch reported that Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos just confirmed the streaming giant’s ambitious goal to hit a $1T market valuation by 2030, provided the company maintains its current growth trajectory.
Netflix aims to more than double its revenue from around $39 billion in 2024 to $78 billion by 2030, with operating profits tripling to $30 billion.
Currently valued at approximately $450 billion, Netflix targets growing its global subscriber base to 410 million users by 2030, up from 302 million expected by the end of 2024.
The company also plans to expand its advertising revenue to $9 billion annually by strengthening its ad-supported subscription tier alongside its core paid memberships.
Sarandos noted that Netflix currently accounts for about 5% of the $650 billion consumer expenditure in its market segments, showcasing significant growth potential.
Despite facing fierce competition from players like Amazon Prime Video and Disney+, Netflix is optimistic that 'perfect execution' will help achieve this ambitious goal.
