According to The Wall Street Journal, Ilya Sutskever's startup Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) is reportedly in talks to raise $2 billion at a staggering $30 billion valuation. This ambitious target comes despite the company having no revenue or public-facing product, as reported in The Wall Street Journal.

Sutskever has indicated that SSI is taking a completely new direction for AI development, describing it as 'a different mountain to climb'. The company plans to operate leanly with around 20 employees and will not release any commercial product until it achieves superintelligence.
