Azure AI Foundry Rolls Out New Models, Agent Services, and Fine-Tuning Tools

26-May-2025 :

Microsoft has launched new features for Azure AI Foundry to accelerate the development of AI applications and multi-agent systems. Updates include access to leading models like xAI’s Grok 3, Black Forest Labs’ Flux Pro, and over 10,000 open-source models from Hugging Face.
Developers can now fine-tune models with techniques like LoRA, QLoRA, and DPO to create enterprise-specific AI agents. The Foundry Agent Service has reached general availability, offering a no-code approach to building secure agents with templates and API connectors.
Azure AI Foundry now supports model orchestration with tools such as the model leaderboard—for ranking AI models by task—and a model router, which dynamically selects the best model per request.
These advancements reflect Microsoft’s commitment to helping businesses move from single-task models to scalable AI systems that integrate into real-world workflows. Combined with Copilot Studio and ONNX Runtime, Azure’s platform now offers one of the most complete ecosystems for secure and adaptive AI app development.
